Looks like God doesn't cotton to defiance and has blind sided Night Pumper,  we must take responsibility for our actions....when we lash out sometimes it comes back and kicks us on the ass! (or the back of the head in this case).

I dunno what to do to help out Nightpumper anymore.  Right now he seems angry and defiant.  It's like he's blaming Mother Nature for his situation.  Someone should tell him that hail (which is pelting him) in and of itself is neither good nor bad.  If he's hanging a "bad" label on it, well, that's his problem.....not mine!, I'm working behind the scenes to improve his situation but if he's going to do stupid behavior then i might just give up on trying to help him out!

strip 72 panel 1....revisited

Well, at long last this panel is finished.  It's been such a long time in which Nightpumper is trying desperately to make his way through an hailstorm and metaphorically speaking through a thing called "his life."

Here we are checking in with Bill as he goes through a bit of self reflection.  But don't worry about him, he's resilent as well as inscousient (rarely though).
